The good news: Chatham is located in New York's beautiful, rural Columbia County, tucked between the Hudson River and the Berkshires.

The not-as-good news: The site of our wedding is roughly three hours from New York City or an hour from Albany by car.

If you are flying into one of New York's airports, please allow yourself plenty of time to find your rental car and your bearings (at least an extra hour!). If you're planning to attend the festivities on Friday evening, you should budget at least four hours from baggage claim to hotel check-in. (This is quite a bit of travel, we know all too well, but we promise to make your stay with us well worth it!)

Your hotel will provide you with the very best and most reliable driving directions. If you are staying at the St. Charles Hotel in Hudson, visit their site, stcharleshotel.com.

Here are Yahoo! maps and driving directions to the St. Charles Hotel from the airports (La Guardia, JFK, Newark and Albany) as well as a map that Eric's Uncle Maynard made, showing our ceremony and reception sites.

Book air travel and make rental car reservations online at expedia.com, travelocity.com, orbitz.com, etc. Southwest Airlines now offers discount fares to Albany.
